How it all came about

Some time ago our two youngest children, Joshua and Emma, had a conversation with their mother. This conversation could have happened in any family, but it happened in ours.

Joshua: Mom, we want a swing.
Mom: You want a swing?
Emma: And a slide.
Joshua: And a whole big playground.
Mom: You want a whole big playground?
Joshua and Emma: Yes! We want a whole big playground.
Mom: Well a playground costs a lot of money. Do you have any money?
Joshua and Emma: No. (long pause)
Joshua: Daddy could build a playground with his welder!
Mom: Well, he could. But the steel would also cost money.
Joshua: Oh. (long pause)
Emma: Maybe we could get money!
Mom: Oh? How could you earn money?
Joshua: We could sell stuff!
Emma: Yeah! Sell stuff!
Mom: What could you sell?
Joshua: Ummm
Emma: We could make pictures!
Joshua: And sell pictures!
Joshua and Emma: And get a playground!
Mom: You know what… that just might work.

So they went to work drawing pictures, original refrigerator art, to sell on the Internet. We put together this site to deliver the refrigerator art to the world.

How it works

When you make a single donation of at least $9.95 (US) through our donate button, we will set you up to receive through your email one (1) picture per week for a year (52 weeks). You can print them out to have a new piece of original refrigerator art from Joshua and Emma each week! We will keep track of the total donations received and give updates on the playground progress through the website. You get some nice refrigerator art, they get a playground, it’s that easy!

Joshua and Emma are very excited to get their artwork on the Internet. Here are a few samples of their latest works:
